Attorney Taghreed Al-Daghmi moderated a session entitled “The Role of Civil Society and Human Rights Institutions in Supporting the Implementation of Alternatives to Pretrial Detention and Facilitating Reintegration,” during a conference organized by the Danish Institute Against Torture in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice to support the implementation of alternatives to detention. The conference was attended by a notable number of judges, legal professionals, human rights practitioners, experts, and civil society organizations.
