The “Human Rights Unit” and the “Waie Center” Organize a Workshop on Countering Hate Speech in the Media

The Waie Center for Human Rights Training, in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit at the Prime Ministry, held a specialized training workshop for journalists and media professionals entitled “Towards Responsible Media that Promotes Community Peace and Security and Combats Hate Speech.”
The workshop was conducted under the “Sound of Peace” Project, implemented by the Waie Center for Human Rights Training and funded by the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID). The two-day training brought together trainers, media experts, legal professionals, and religious leaders, with notable participation from the Community Peace and Security Center of the Public Security Directorate and the Human Rights Unit at the Prime Ministry.
