The waee Center for Human Rights Training participated in the launch of the initiative “Our Social Security… Towards a Stable and Safe Family,” which was launched by the Mutlaqana Association for Jordanian Women Leaders, in cooperation with the Greater Amman Municipality, the Sawsana Al-Ibdaa Association, the waee Center for Human Rights Training, the National Association for Therapeutic Safety, and the Al-Sareeh Cultural Forum.
The initiative was attended by the Government Coordinator for Human Rights, Nadhir Al-Awamleh, and Colonel Firas Al-Rashid, Director of Family and Juvenile Protection, and was held under the patronage of MP Engineer Abeer Al-Jabour, Chair of the Women and Family Committee in the House of Representatives, waee.


Ms. Amira Al-Qanneh, President of the Mutlaqana Association for Jordanian Women Leaders, spoke about the importance of the initiative, its objectives, goals, and the community’s need for it.
The patron of the event, MP Engineer Abeer Al-Jabour, also delivered a speech in which she emphasized the importance of initiatives that strengthen family foundations and promote social security, waee.
The event was moderated by Attorney Taghreed Al-Daghmi, Director of the waee Center for Human Rights Training, who served as the master of ceremony for the launch of the initiative.
Speakers included His Eminence Judge Dr. Jamal Al-Tamimi, Attorney Dr. Ahmad Al-Rahahla, Attorney Khadija Ouda, Dr. Ahmad Abu Rumman, media professional Obeida Abdo, and Attorney Yazan Al-Deesi.
The event was attended by representatives of governmental institutions and civil society organizations concerned with women’s and family affairs. Participants presented valuable interventions, leading to key recommendations and proposals on the subject, waee.
