The waee Center for Human Rights Training held a discussion session on the state of media freedoms in Jordan, with the participation of a distinguished group of lawyers, journalists, and media professionals, highlighting the importance of media in influencing the course of human rights.

This session comes in light of the recommendations of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) for Jordan in the previous cycle (2018), and in preparation for Jordan’s submission of its report at the beginning of 2024, waee.
