The waee Center for Human Rights Training held a digital seminar via Zoom to discuss the role of religion in spreading hope and reassurance in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The session featured Father Nabil Haddad and Dr. Amer Al-Hafi, and took place at a time when psychological pressures were increasing due to the crisis caused by the coronavirus. Amid widespread feelings of despair across the world, including in Jordan, the discussion focused on reflecting on the harmony between body and spirit, and the importance of maintaining hope and faith despite the severity of challenges.

It also highlighted the severe impact on vulnerable groups, particularly the elderly and refugees, while emphasizing that humanity will eventually overcome this crisis and emerge with a clearer vision and a deeper appreciation of its inherent unity and interconnection.
