The waee Center for Human Rights Training held a discussion session at Al-Muwaqqar Municipality on the rights of female factory workers.
The session featured Dr. Khulood Al-Marashdeh, representing the Ministry of Labor; Ms. Reena Al-Toubasi, member of the Al-Muwaqqar District Municipal Council; Attorney Shorouq Al-Khudair; and Engineer Ahlam Al-Abd, Head of the Health and Safety Department at the Inspection Directorate.
The discussion reviewed the challenges and issues facing women workers in factories, as well as the role of the Ministry of Labor and the Inspection Directorate, in addition to the legislation governing women’s labor rights, waee.
This discussion session comes as part of the project “Your Voice is Your Identity,” funded by the Community Media Network with support from the European Union, waee.
