The waee Center for Human Rights Training held a dialogue session with a number of journalists and social activists, moderated by journalist Ghada Al-Sheikh, aimed at stimulating consultation on the role that media can play in promoting the concept of social justice.
The discussion explored how media can create spaces where citizens actively participate in an honest dialogue about the social issues they face, and how these issues can be addressed in a way that enhances public awareness.
It also emphasized that discussion, learning, and gaining deeper insights are the core objectives of this initiative, which will form part of a series of interconnected meetings with unified goals, waee.
