This video presents an analysis of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) recommendations related to freedom of opinion and expression across four consecutive review cycles, from 2009 to 2024. The number of recommendations increased from just one recommendation out of 79 in 2009 to 20 recommendations out of 173 in 2013. It then declined slightly to 16 recommendations out of 226 in 2018, before rising significantly to 31 recommendations out of a total of 279 recommendations in the 2024 review cycle.
